Atlantic Beach is about more than just the beach. While the sandy Atlantic shores are a must-see, a day at the beach is not the only thing to do in Atlantic Beach. North Carolina is rich in history and local wildlife. There are countless local small towns with rich stories waiting to be told.
Antiquing is one of the best ways to explore this history – and even bring a piece of it back with you! That one-of-a-kind piece will be the perfect souvenir to present your loved ones with back home. Atlantic Beach has excellent shopping but does not have antiquing stores; however, nearby towns have many. Take a day trip to explore local communities and gain a deeper appreciation for North Carolina!
