Where is the Atlantic Beach Town Park?
Located at 915 W Fort Macon Road, the park consists of a splash pad, large skatepark, 18-hole mini-golf course, half-court basketball court, playground, picnic shelter, concession stand, & public restrooms. This is enough to keep the entire family busy for the day!
There’s Something for Everyone in Atlantic Beach
The 18-hole mini-golf course is open during summer from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (weather permitting) and costs $5 per person. Anyone 6 or under is free! These are the best prices you’ll find for Atlantic Beach mini golf, and it is a great activity for parents and children to engage in together. Concessions stands and restroom facilities are located nearby for your convenience.
For children of all ages, the splash pad is a whole lot of summer fun. It is an interactive water play fountain that is perfect for cooling off the kids and entertaining them for hours.

The Atlantic Beach skate park provides endless entertainment for children, teens, and adults. It is free to the public and open daily from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. (approximately dawn to dusk). Certain hours are set in place for BMX bikes, so be sure to check beforehand if this is the bike you intend to use. Any adventurous riders under the age of 10 must be accompanied by an adult. All riders are expected to wear helmets, elbow pads, and knee pads for their safety in accordance with the NC General Statute. Families can share a picnic together after working up an appetite. There is a 20-foot by 20-foot picnic shelter available for reservation daily from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. The shelter can be reserved in 4-hour blocks: 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. The shelter has a covered area with 6 picnic tables and costs $25 to reserve. Reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis.

There are outdoor movies held periodically, and the annual Sounds Like Summer at the Park live music event is an Atlantic Beach favorite.
